Very open game, nice watch but Wales won't beat SH opposition playing like this. I get that Gatland wants to change his reputation but they don't have the players for this.

Wales so weak in defence but decent going forward but Australia look a different proposition compared to the side that toured last year.

Decent game, but we are never going to beat SH opposition (bar South Africa every so often) with an error count that high. Our handling just wasn't good enough.

Decent game, but Wales still second best in most areas

Some good opportunities spoiled by inefficient handling

Ireland battering South Africa, it's 31-3 with three minutes left

I really enjoyed it as a match but you were really naive throughout.

Poor not to put significant scoreboard pressure on too when they were down to 14. You scored eventually, but 9 minutes into the 10 having had all the ball in that time is no good.

The best teams score in the first few moments of a man advantage so they can then be battering for a second score before the perpetrator returns.

I liked a lot of what I saw today but the defending was really poor at times, and that is why Australia put us away fairly comfortably in the end.

France will host the 2023 Rugby World Cup after beating off competition from Ireland and South Africa.

Ridiculous decision, it was here only ten years ago. Ireland would have been s far better place to have it. Spineless twats at World Rugby just looking to fill their boots rather than take the game to a nation that deserves it as much as, if not more, than either of the two others that were in the running.

England side to face Australia on Saturday 18th Nov..

England: 15 Anthony Watson; 14 Jonny May, 13 Jonathan Joseph, 12 Owen Farrell; 11 Elliot Daly; 10 George Ford, 9 Ben Youngs; 1 Mako Vunipola, 2 Dylan Hartley (c), 3 Dan Cole; 4 Joe Launchbury, 5 Courtney Lawes; 6 Chris Robshaw, 7 Sam Underhill, 8 Nathan Hughes.

Replacements: 16 Jamie George, 17 Joe Marler, 18 Harry Williams, 19 Maro Itoje, 20 Sam Simmonds, 21 Danny Care, 22 Henry Slade, 23 Semesa Rokoduguni.

Farrell & May return as starters but Itoje only makes the bench, as does Marler after his ban.

If England lose to Australia then they will go above England in the rankings.

Just caught up with the England highlights. Score flattered England, but they showed their ruthless edge and took their chances. Aussies are particularly good losers :)

Australia have some good players, but their problem is depth.

England replaced their front row with Marler, George and Harry Williams, who will probably be the regulars for the WC in 2019.

It's an 80 minute game and if you run out of steam in the last 10mins against an in-form England, they are going to make you pay; and they did.

I have to congratulate both teams' players for the rugby they played in terrible weather conditions.

Eddie makes 9 changes from the Aussie game to face Samoa

England: 15 Mike Brown, 14 Jonny May, 13 Henry Slade, 12 Alex Lozowski, 11 Elliot Daly, 10 George Ford (co-capt), 9 Danny Care; 1 Ellis Genge, 2 Jamie George, 3 Dan Cole, 4 Joe Launchbury, 5 Charlie Ewels, 6 Maro Itoje, 7 Chris Robshaw (co-capt), 8 Sam Simmonds.

Replacements: 16 Dylan Hartley, 17 Joe Marler, 18 Harry Williams, 19 Nick Isiekwe, 20 Courtney Lawes, 21 Ben Youngs, 22 Piers Francis, 23 Semesa Rokoduguni.

Jamie George finally makes a start for England in a Test match, and Sam Simmonds starts for injured Nathan Hughes.

Australian ref ruining the RL World Cup final with plenty of home calls.
