Nope PPV is pay per view, ie pay for an event. Sky is a subscription.

You can get a day pass or weekly pass with Sky, but my point was, as Paddy said, it should be available free for everyone IMO, and I have Sky.

If you make a rugby friendly free (a niche watch) then why not all football, which is watched by so many more people.

Had a week pass for the last Wolves game, but ran out last night - wasn't going to get another just for this, only tend to bother if it's a Wolves game on & decide whether it's worth the few £s extra to get a week rather than a day pass depending on what else is being screened on the 6 days after.

Competitive home England football internationals are covered by the crown jewels agreement.

As it should be (the same for 6N too I think). This is a friendly though.

Good try from Argentina at the end, england looking a bit disorganised.

Not so:

However they're not really in any danger of going anywhere, ITV have them as their flagship event (poor sods) and Sky aren't interested in paying for them any more. They have been exclusive to Sky in the past but they have bigger fish to fry now in seeing off BT for the PL rights and eventually (you'd think) trying to get European football back off them. Plus the fact that subscription TV in general is becoming more of a shaky model because of the way youngsters consume media.

The early Sven days were definitely Sky only and I seem to remember at least some of the home games under McClaren not being on terrestrial. You're only going back to 2006/7 there.

This match is not a friendly, it is an international Test match which is part of the Old Mutual Wealth series.

Hope not, but it does seem that Australia have turned a corner.

I meant Wales to get the hammering you numpties!

Although we have started better than I thought we would
