Looks like Sam Warburton will step down as Wales captain, still intends to play for Wales

We'll see what happens when Howley names his squad for the 6N on 17th Jan. If true, can only see AWJ being the captain.

Underhill has agreed a 3yr deal with Bath, which should see him travelling to Argentina with England in the summer.

Kvesic going to Exeter in the summer.

Cracking game between Scarlets and Saracens on Sunday, with a dramatic last minute equaliser.

Three new caps for England in the 6N.
Prop Nathan Catt, Leicester back-row Mike Williams and Saracens fly-half Alex Lozowski.

Forwards: Nathan Catt (Bath), Jack Clifford (Harlequins), Dan Cole (Leicester), Charlie Ewels (Bath), Ellis Genge (Leicester), Jamie George (Saracens), Teimana Harrison (Northampton), Dylan Hartley (Northampton), James Haskell (Wasps), Nathan Hughes (Wasps), Maro Itoje (Saracens), George Kruis (Saracens), Joe Launchbury (Wasps), Courtney Lawes (Northampton), Joe Marler (Harlequins), Matt Mullan (Wasps), Kyle Sinckler (Harlequins), Tommy Taylor (Wasps), Mike Williams (Leicester), Tom Wood (Northampton)

Backs: Mike Brown (Harlequins), Danny Care (Harlequins), Elliot Daly (Wasps), Owen Farrell (Saracens), George Ford (Bath), Jonathan Joseph (Bath), Alex Lozowski (Saracens), Jonny May (Gloucester), Jack Nowell (Exeter), Henry Slade (Exeter), Ben Te'o (Worcester), Anthony Watson (Bath), Marland Yarde (Harlequins), Ben Youngs (Leicester)

Just saw a trailer for the jump 2017, both Jason Robinson and Gareth Thomas on it ! Two people who I have ultimate respect for as players and humans, why the need to do cheap TV ?

Down to last 8 in the champions cup, fairly even spread between the 3 leagues (3 french, 3 pro12, 2 english)

Munster v Toulouse
Saracens v Glasgow
Clermont v Toulon
Leinster v The Coventry Moths

Anthony Watson a doubt for England against France because of a hamstring strain.

Jonny Sexton out of Saturdays game v Scotland, he is approaching Matt Murray levels of fitness nowadays. Not a hope he would complete the Lions tour in the summer (or for that matter get to the first test) in one piece.

Eddie's team for the 6N game against France

15 Mike Brown, 14 Jonny May, 13 Jonathan Joseph, 12 Owen Farrell, 11 Elliot Daly, 10 George Ford, 9 Ben Youngs;

1 Joe Marler, 2. Dylan Hartley (c), 3 Dan Cole, 4 Joe Launchbury, 5 Courtney Lawes, 6 Maro Itoje, 7 Tom Wood, 8 Nathan Hughes.

Replacements: 16 Jamie George, 17 Matt Mullan, 18 Kyle Sinckler, 19 Teimana Harrison, 20 James Haskell, 21 Danny Care, 22 Ben Te'o, 23 Jack Nowell.

Harrison instead of Clifford in the squad, and Daly in at 11 with Nowell on the bench.
Nowell wasn't at training on Mon & Tues for personal reasons.

Could only be improved if Corbisiero decided to play again :)

Seriously scary depth to our squad at the moment.

You could say that it could be improved if Mako wasn't injured, and some feel that George is a better hooker than Hartley.
However, it is true to say that we are fortunate to have the quality depth we have for all the forwards.

I can only watch Scotland v Ireland today, and I am quietly nervous about tomorrow. Italy had a great autumn and maybe it is their time to stand up and be counted. With Howley in charge I am not confident in Wales.

Still - it's the Six Nations. And I bloody love it.
