The Rugby Thread

I was being sarcastic ! Could be interesting as a lot of positions I think pick themselves although you also got the Faletau / Vunipola debate etc..You make a start then :)

Stuart Lancaster has his first job since the World Cup, has joined Leinster's coaching staff.

Not sure what his role will be, their defensive coach had to leave last month due to health issues, so probably will take over that.

Really good game between NZ and ARG Free on sky at the minute. ARG playing some real good attacking running rugby

Following on from Sam Jones broken leg and Anthony Watsons broken jaw, Jack Nowell has a tear in a quadricep and must be doubtful for the Autumn Internationals.
Mike Williams also injured his arm in the warm-up for Leics. on Saturday.

There has been a lot of criticism of the intensity of the training in the England camp by some AP clubs

I saw that. By the way, I watched New Zealand absolutely annihilate South Africa yesterday. So good it was almost terrifying.

Munster Rugby head coach Anthony Foley has died suddenly in Paris. An Irish Rugby statement has said that Foley, 42, had died overnight at the hotel where the team were staying prior to Sunday's game against Racing 92

Only 42....

Maro Itoje out for 6 weeks with his hand injury, so misses the AIs.

Was just looking to see if we have an RL thread. Really good game.

There is a rugby league thread somewhere, I thought this was for proper rugby ??

:stirthepot:

Rugby league talk would be more appropriate in the NFL thread surely? It's roughly the same 'game'...
