The Rugby Thread

England have gained well there from the two straight wins against the Aussies and then the Ireland result against the Boks. Fair play, clear daylight. Not a lot at all between the sides in 3rd to 7th though.

Glad to see France falling below Scotland though. That is genuinely fucking amusing.

Had written off today playing at altitude with a few 2nd string players 12-3 up. Long way to go yet.

Well done England great series win, no shame for Wales either pushing the All Blacks away twice is no mean feat

Well must say have had better Saturday afternoons....

had written SA game off before we started then ended up more disappointed about it then the football.

SA ramped it up in the 2nd half and we just seem to fall off our tackles in the last 20 mins (presumably playing at altitude kicked in). Hopefully we can regroup for next week.

That's a shame. Haskell has definitely been man of the series.

In the world u-20's semi finals

Ireland beat Argentina 37-7 and England beat South Africa 39-17, two fairly impressive victories.

Final is next saturday, England going in as 1/4 favourites

England make one change for final Test against Australia. Haskell replaced by Teimana Harrison.

Bench stays as a 6-2 split.

England: 15 Mike Brown, 14 Anthony Watson, 13 Jonathan Joseph, 12 Owen Farrell, 11 Jack Nowell, 10 George Ford, 9 Ben Youngs; 1 Mako Vunipola, 2 Dylan Hartley (c), 3 Dan Cole, 4 Maro Itoje, 5 George Kruis, 6 Chris Robshaw, 7 Teimana Harrison, 8 Billy Vunipola.

Replacements: 16 Jamie George, 17 Matt Mullan, 18 Paul Hill, 19 Joe Launchbury, 20 Courtney Lawes, 21 Jack Clifford, 22 Danny Care, 23 Elliot Daly.

Well Wales got another battering today, losing 46-6 to New Zealand

England leading Australia 17-15....Could the unthinkable whitewash be on?

Really good game today. England and Oz playing good attacking rugby.

After trailing 18-17 at HT, England get the first try of the second half through Billy Vunipola and lead 25-18

Australia now lead 32-28. End to end attacking rugby

Great kick by Farrell, 44-35 and that MUST be the whitewash
