The Royals

If you do get the situation of someone waiting for hours but being turned away at the end, Jamie Redknapp to come in with "he's almost queued too well there, David"

Roy Keane countering "Only got himself to blame there, he knew there was a queue, he knew how long it was taking, he knew there was a cut off and yet still missed out. Zero sympathy from me. Pathetic"

Probably would have done if he asked as well. Some good PR if nothing else for him.
It is excellent PR for him. Whereas Holly & Phil are getting pelters for skipping the queue on Twitter.

Get a sense of the time spent in the queue to see the Queen's coffin by trying to get through to the DWP on the telephone.

Apparently they stopped people joining the queue this morning, to enable the moving of the coffin at 6.30 tomorrow.

Have to love James Blunt on twitter

Well that was stunning !
Mild republican here, but absolutely agree, a magnificent send off.

Dipped in and out during the day but have to admit to a bit of a lump in the throat on a couple of occasions. Contemplated heading up to the A30 around Staines way just to see her go past and be part of history. Not sure if that casts doubt on my republican views or speaks more about the respect for her as a person and the way she conducted herself throughout her reign - I hope and suspect the latter.

Hats off to all involved in making today what it was. A fitting ceremony for a monarch that did her country proud, the likes of we may never see again.

We do the ceremonial stuff brilliantly, and all at fairly short notice as well, 10 days is no time to practice and sort out all the other stuff to be done as well

Nearly everything has been in place for years with regular practice but it must still take some organising.
