Very sad . . . Christ he's only just over 3 weeks older than me.

Saw him play a few times for Villa - a very good striker. He played in the final of Villa's 1982 European Cup win.

Just read elsewhere that Steve Plant, who did a lot of charity work and is known for They wore the shirt has sadly passed away after having a heart attack.

Went to a couple of his book launch events at Molineux. He was at the match on Saturday. Just shows you how precious life is.
