Very successful one club man who I believe made his fortune with his family AFTER football eventually selling the family business for millions! He hadnt been well for a while. Good player. RIP

John Murray - ex England & Middlesex keeper aged 83

Can remember seeing him at the Oval in the 60's - very good player indeed

His Last day was watching at Lord's in a County game - it's the way he would have wanted to go

Ellie Soutter snowboarder on her 18 th birthday. No cause as yet. Awful

Wrestlers Nikola Koloff and Grand Master Sexay have both passed away today according to reports

74 years old too. Christ I didn't realise he was that old. I remember seeing him in the clubs back in the 70s. His nickname was given to him by Glenn Hughes.

Used to live round the back of our house in Cannock, a genuinely funny bloke .

Probably see him at least 3 times a year and also sometimes walking the concourse in the Billy Wright. Shame. RIP.

Tony Bullimore, 79.

His book about the Vendee round the world solo race when he capsized in the southern ocean & survived for 4 days in an air pocket in the upturned hull before being rescued by the Australian Navy is well worth a read

Barry Chuckle aged 73. That's one funeral where you wouldn't want to be the pallbearer.

I remember that season we signed him and his brother to play on the wing well.
