The R.I.P. Thread

I think the Forum may have just died so RIP TWF.

Was fun whilst it lasted, despite all the experts and Paddy's taste in "music"

Yeah, can someone famous please die so we can get back on topic?

Joe Jackson (no, the other one) went a few days back. Looked even worse than his son by the end. No great loss.

That'll do - he's famous. Cheers, Tom.

And RIP, Joe obvs.

Richard Harrison Old Man from Pawn Stars passed away last week.

got s good send off as well with him being ex US Navy forgetting the TV show (which saved his business) it appears he was beloved in Las Vegas as a businessman and a veteran.

This thread :) Agree with Paddy though, music is very much personal and should not be a competition, each have their own taste

If people haven't picked up on it, the Dead Rock Stars podcast is well worth a listen.

Based on personal anecdotes by rock journalists Mick Wall and Joel McIver, there is obviously a lot of tales of debauchery and excess, which I guess is why a lot of people will listen but also genuine warmth and a balanced view of the subjects.

William Dunlop, Joeys nephew and Roberts son has lost his life in practice for the Skerries 100 race

Aged 32. Seen members of that family race many times on the Isle of Man. Always used to amaze me with their speed. Bloody nutters!

RIP William.

Clive King, author of Stig of the Dump, aged 94.

Workmate reckons Phil the Greek has popped off this mortal coil. Only a rumour mind, but he heard it from a friend who works at a commonwealth embassy....
