RIP

RIP Jan Stoeckart aka Jack Trombey, library music legend. His big 'hit' was, of course, Eye Level, played by the Simon Park Orchestra.

Gorden Kaye best known for playing Rene in Allo Allo has died aged 75.

Went on longer than the actual Second World War,I'm with ppb,I hated it,and don't start me on Mrs browns boys or the vicar of dibly, thin blue line and that awful one about health and safety at work

Allo Allo was fine if you treated it as a farce - the English Gendarme was sublime

The others mentioned can do one - not funny at all

'allo 'allo was brilliant TV farce.

Created so many catchphrases and the greatest character name in Herr Flick.

Poor Rene, he has pissed away.
