The R.I.P. Thread

I used to love Olli & Lissa, Dizzy, and Jack The Nipper 2.

Jumping Jack and Horace Goes Skiing were my two non-football favourites when I was a kid.

Loved Emlyn Hughes and International Soccer on the C64, the latter of which a mate had on a cartridge that meant that you had none of the jeopardy of the tape loading.

Sabre Wulf, Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, and the remarkably badly titled Penetrator were great games.

I also remember playing Man Utd in Europe loads on the C64 for some reason despite not supporting them. You scored from a cross virtually every time!

chase hq and r-type were 2 of my faves. and gauntlet (I'm clearly old!)

remember a mate having an oric computer when they were new.

still have fond memories of the old atari system we had!

Loved my Speccy. Ant Attack, A motorbike game when you had to drive through a forest avoiding the trees (Name?), The Hobbit, but my favorite was The Sentinel. 1000's of levels - I played for 100's of hours.

Me and my mate wrote a Crazy Golf game. We asked a man at my Dads works to design a cover. Sold some copies to a computer shop in Bridgnorth. Sadly it never took off. I still have a copy of it somewhere in the loft!

Remember typing in lists from Spectrum Magazines. One missed comma or speech mark, and the whole thing crashed. Used to take hours to type in!

Gauntlet was the one I was trying to remember! This whole thread has brought back a whole bunch of memories from being a kid I'd forgotten about.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about! My first experience of a computer game was a sega megadrive then I graduated to PlayStation 1 and Pro Evolution soccer. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I remember one of my mates getting a mega drive and bugging my parents all year to have one for Christmas. Then I was super underwhelmed on the big day as I unwrapped my PlayStation, wondering what the fuck it was.
