Esther Bajarano aged 96, one of the members of the all femle Auschwitz camp orchestra that played on the platforms to calm the new intake of prisoners while being unloaded off the trains

That's sad, a genuinely nice guy. A very good player at his peak too.

Aww crap, that's a shame. A lovely guy and a darting legend.

Always seemed sound and a good laugh when I saw him interviewed. Real shame.

Home & Away actor Dieter Brummer found dead, just 45

fuck sake!

Actually met him, he and Murderdolls did a photoshoot for Kerrang! in the kitchens at The Civic when I worked there, I walked in for something and they were milling about waiting to get started. He and Wednesday were brilliant.

Slipknot at Download 2009 was an incredible set and him maintaining his consistency upside fucking down for Spit It Out continues to blow my mind.

Him and Dave Lombardo standing in for Lars Ulrich at very short notice for a headline set when Lars had “a medical problem” was awesome. They were both brilliant.

Terry Cooper, 77, ex-Leeds and England.
