The Oscillating Wildly Thread

I still haven't had chance to read the last one! Kept the window open as a reminder. Planning on doing so at the weekend (trying to limit screen time during the week). Something to look forward to as well!

Very good and objective which makes a change

Makes a change from what ;)

Ok then, I don't like you dissing Wolves 94/95 player of the year , he was player of the year, that year he was the best player, for the year !!!

Interesting article - despite all the shit of the early 80s and almost going out of business, if we hadn't have dropped so low we would probably have never employed Graham Turner or signed Steve Bull

Been mostly absent for a couple of months - a number of high priority issues caused by COVID-19, but all pretty well sorted by now.

Just caught up with the latest blog - The Perfect Storm of 1982 - an outstanding read and analysis !

The 1979/80 team was the last time, until now, we had a really good team, but albeit it was a one-off - I've read and heard from numerous people that it was a team that worked for one season but fell away quickly after that - relegation within 2 seasons.

You really have to go back to the early 70s for a team that was good and strong for a number of seasons - ie near enough 50 years ago !

For those who care, I think I'm probably done with this. I'm not good enough to do it properly and I don't have the motivation to do it any more. The licence on the site runs out in a couple of months, I think I'll just let it lapse and that'll be that.

There isn't any point if you don't enjoy it and you aren't any good in the first place. It'll have been nearly five years by the time it ends so that's not a bad run.

Had a go, couldn't do it, move on.

I can't do "that'll do". That's not me.

I wish I were good enough to do it, I'm not. That's life, innit. I had a decent dig at it.

Name one person on here that can do it better (I know Louies is excellent but that's coming from a different angle, never has a dig at Saunders or Fergusen and hasn't made me laugh once ! )

Hope you change your mind. Very much enjoy/enjoyed the articles you put out.

Was half expecting this thread to have risen to the top of the forum because you’d posted an extensive piece on “William Joke”...

Your last sentence is wrong, no matter what you think.

Dan writes so much better than anything I produce!

Its a pity, you're plenty good enough...loads of people on here say how much they enjoy it and I don't think they're blowing smoke up your arse.
Still if you're not enjoying doing it there's no point......hopefully you'll pick it up again when you get your mojo back.
