I have looked at this. You are forgetting Serbia. If Serbia beat Switzerland (quite likely), and then draw against Brazil, then Brazil are into the quarter final area for the team finishing second. If that combines with Germany failing to qualify then England v Belgium could be a winner takes all scrap for that better draw.

Thought that was dull as fuck in the second half, we deserved to be out of site at half time but fucking hell we were poor after it. Young has absolutely no place near the team and if he plays against someone half decent we’ll be playing with ten men, utter fucking jizzmopper. I thought Lingard was fucking useless as well as usual.

Maguire did get better throughout the game but he was proper shaky at the start, possibly due to the weight of his head. I’m still not keen on Walker in the center either but, penalty aside, he was decent there. Alli should have been taken off much earlier as he was just a passenger. And Henderson is no Neves.

It is flirting with danger to try to avoid certain teams. Just try to win every game, and take it from there. The further any team progresses then the higher quality of opposition awaits them.

Echo what many have already said. Young and Alli the weak links. RLC and Rose please. Last chance saloon for Sterling, Lingard did ok for me bar putting the ball In the net, fantastic movement and pulls defenders out of position.
Stones and Maguire did excellently second half bringing the ball forward.

Thought it was a good perormperformance. We played superb 1st half, but these are young players and stayed at it and we did not change the way we played patienc3 was the key.
2nd half was not as good but it was tough against a team that planned 9 defenders in and never tried to attack us.
Only change I would make is Rose for Young

Weve seen this sort of match most of this season when teams faced Man City, incredibly hard to break down,boring, anti football team.
And whats the point in VAR if not for the Kane incidents?
