Not a great first half, but in the little football that has been played, one cannot argue that Italy deserve to be in front.

Ciman has been a class above in MLS tbf. The best defender in the league by a distance.

The quality of pundits in general in football is awful isn't it. They only ever employ ex-pros, who quite often are pretty thick let's be honest. Just one example of someone who's not an ex-player broadcasters could have is Jonathan Wilson who would be far more interesting to listen to!

Great counter-attack, Lukaku fails to make Italy pay. Then Italy nearly make it two, little bit stretched for a moment.
 
Lukaku's first touch there was dreadful, and still should have scored!
 
Great save from Courtois to keep it at 1-0.

Love Italy's commitment to playing it out short at the back, never look flustered.
 
hopefully england's widemen are watching and can see what happens when you get quick ball in.
 
Been out & only just finished eating - have seen the goal (which was well taken) but reading this don't appear to have missed much else
