The Official Euro 2016 Megathread

A little bit of perspective, as it stands England have qualified for the next stage.
 
Never forced a save from the keeper in that second half. Rubbish!
 
Huff and puff. Couldn't put them to the sword as a great tit once said.
 
Fucking rubbish. Lost count of the number of times we jogged up the pitch with the ball only to pass the fucking thing backwards.

Lethargic, turgid shite.
 
First half was fine, but without the finishing touch. Sadly the second half was very average. We are through, but we only won one of our three games, and it took a last minute goal to do that. We will struggle when we meet the better teams in the competition.

Congrats to Wales for their performance

Coming 2nd in this group not the worst result we could have had, but worrying that we seemingly can't break teams down. A lack of invention or decent final ball
 
Frustrating but we're through and as long as we're still in the competition then I'm happy. Hopefully Portugal top their group, leaving us with Hungary, Iceland or Austria.

Congratulations to Wales for topping the group.

I found the whole of that half a bit desperate. Kept possession well but didn't do enough with it. nowhere enough width second half and hardly tried to use vardy.

Be nice to lose to a team that wants to win TBH.
 
Slovakia came looking for a point and third place. Classic bus parking. Through to the next rtound where teams can't really play for a draw
 
Not easy to play against the most defensive possible set up. We created chances but as I said earlier the main criticism I can level at us this tournament is not taking chances. Lallana, Vardy, Alli, Clyne should all be putting those away.

We weren't that bad, we're through, and we should beat whoever we get in the next round considering how poor that group has been.

Really really frustrating to watch but hey ho - we're through at least.

Not sure that's beneficial - from what I have seen Portugal aren't the best side in that group

Not sure that I wouldn't want them rather than Hungary

I could accept that if we hadn't given them all the time in the world to park up again and again.

We can beat any of the teams in that group if we keep up the performances we've shown thus far. They won't do what Slovakia did tonight.
 
By my calculations we can have a routine exit against France in the Q/F now.
