Delivery from wide again has been piss poor, to ponderous in possession at times.
 
We should have players hugging either touch line. all too central with a desperate shot through defenders.
 
Whatever the outcome you can't really have a go at England, battered Russia, battered Wales and now battering Slovakia.

Unfortunately winning football matches is about scoring more goals than the opposition

If we don't do that then battering the other team is pointless
 
In a competitive tournament winning is pretty much the ONLY important thing, tbf
 
Slovakia have defended well but it's not like the keeper has been making world class saves or we've hit the post or bar regularly. Dominated possession but final ball has been lacking.
 
So the team you support can play shit as long as they win then?
 
In a competitive tournament yes, pretty much. Looking good and going home is the same net effect as stinking the joint out and going home.
 
Good plan finishing 2nd. We get extra days before our next game....
