not suggesting that numbers are the end-all be-all of scouting, but any modern sports organization not using analytics to assist in decisions are behind the times

the browns certainly can't do any worse than they have been for the last forever

How do you attach numbers to technique and tactics in soccer?

My 4 fold for the weekend
Seahawks
Redskins
Steelers
Chiefs

Pleased to see you have gone for the Skins from a personal point of view, but Green Bay is a VERY tough game, even on home turf. If Seattle win and Washington also win, then the Skins would go to Arizona and Seattle would be off to the Panthers. I could live with that.

Surprised you aren't favouring the Bengals in the AFC though. They seem to have been a pretty good side from what I have seen this season.

I was delighted to see the Vikings win the NFC North last weekend but I can't see anything other than a Seahawks win again this week, they thumped us last time and although we'll have a few more defensive starters back I can't see Teddy and co. being able to put up enough points. The home field advantage and crazy cold weather might be the only thing in the Vikes favour but I can't see it, Fully expect a Panthers/Seahawks championship game with the winner taking the Superbowl

I would take pretty much every other team left in the NFC against the Redskins except the Packers who are stumbling at the wrong time.

Dalton is very doubtful for the Bengals and even if he plays he has a touch of the Romo's about him when the play offs come round, but that is the closest game for me.

Only way a Panthers / Seahawks championship game can come along is if Washington lose to Green Bay I think.

I agree that the Skins are a weak side in the NFC. Carolina or Arizona should both be capable of tearing them a new one if they get by Green Bay.

I've gone same as Tony, Steelers had the Bengals in Cinci a few weeks ago and that was with Dalton who is definitely out. As for the Packers, they've been pretty poor all season, Rodgers getting no help at all either from his receivers or his O line and their D has never been that great. To be fair to the Skins they're in form and Cousins has really got it going the last few weeks, I think they'll have too much.

I actually think the Chiefs Texans game is the closest to call. Chiefs might have won 10 straight but I think they've had a soft schedule and many close unconvincing wins but the Texans have fucking Brian Hoyer at QB so...I'm still bitter the Jets choked at the last.

I just think Big Ben has been a bit dodgy lately and the Bengals D-Line will get at him plenty.

Jesus wept Hoyer. Having a mare!

Dreadful QB display. Getting every decision wrong and those passes just should never have been thrown. Walk in the park for Kansas at the moment.

That should have been another interception. What is Hoyer on? He is a rabbit in the headlights.

Kansas now 20-0 up. This one is over I think. Houston have been beyond awful and JJ Watt (their one top player) has picked up a knock.

Was just thinking the same, even if they were to play till midnight no way would they score 3 td's
