The NFL Thread

what's with you guys supporting the crappiest teams... browns, bears, redskins... :D

apparently there's some large jacksonville following in england? like the worst team, along with the browns and raiders, over the last decade. and you keep getting their $#@! games in the UK. :(

They started showing the NFl in the early 80's over here and any team with Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, Dan Hampton, Steve McMichael and the maverick Jim McMahon in it was the team for me.

We first got NFL over here in about 1984. So for me it was Theismann and Riggins. I remember the superbowl when Jim Plunkett somehow won it brilliantly for the Raiders against the Skins, and then the brilliant Skins win against Denver a few years later. Bears fans probably go back to Payton and the Fridge in Superbowl 20. Browns fans - goodness only knows - maybe they liked OJ in Naked Gun...

Oi, Browns were decent as well in the 80's, 3 conference finals in a row.
Suppose was a sign to come when we kept losing them to the Broncos

I remember when the Titans were absurdly good. I don't remember much specifically, mind (aside from being QB'd by McNair), but I do remember there being a time when you did not want to play the Titans.

So do I, they were called the Houston Oilers and had Warren Moon at QB.

I've been shocked with how bad the Ravens have been this season, yes we won last Sunday but with Flacco out for the rest of the season It's not looking good at all.

Matt Ryan is like watching me trying to pass every single down on Madden when I've got it on All-Madden. What is wrong with you!!

Just noticed Redzone is on SS5 in HD tonight.

Eli Manning really is shite. 3 interceptions and no TDs against a team like the Redskins.

How did he ever win a Superbowl?!!

yeah im watching the very same game...but the receivers did do some unnecessary juggling with the ball on two occassions..not just Mannings fault

Ok you all just saw that Odell Beckham catch right? That guy is ridiculous.

Vikings win a tough game against the Falcons, mainly thanks to the defence and Peterson. 8-3, top of the division, safe to say I'm surprised!

Titans lose again, 11th straight home defeat.

The record is 14, but thankfully we've only two home games left, so we'll have a number one pick on board by the time of the 14th game.

Another Skins win. Good Lord. Right in with a chance of winning the poorest division in the NFL.

Good news for Wembley prospects. I'd rather see the Giants or Eagles if the Rams finish 2nd or 3rd.

Blaine Gabbert and the 49ers actually look quite decent tonight. Especially Draughn.

There's been a lot of good depth at RB given a chance due to injuries this season.

Colts@Jags
Skins@Bengals
NFC East team @ Rams. Based on who finishes in the same position as them in their respective divisions. This game is at Twickenham
