Whether it's a purple patch or the final unlocking of what he was supposed to be coming out of the college is the biggest variable across the play offs for me. The former they'll lose at the weekend the latter ai think they'll win the AFC.

The Jags have played some bad defenses in their last 8 games. Now, the Bills D has not been great for most of the season, however, since mid-November they are ranked number 1 in scoring and in YPG, so they have turned things around despite being severely depleted by injuries. It should be a great game, probably the best game of the Wild Card Round.

Ravens have fired Harbaugh. Perfect job for Stefanski to take and win a Super Bowl just to make the Browns hate them even more.

Every man and his dog is currently making SB predictions, and among the media pundits the only consensus seems to that the winner will come from the NFC West. Either the Seahawks or the Rams will beat one of Broncos, Jags, Texans, Bills.
It feels weird that the Texans chances of making the SB are being talked up - it has never happened before. On the one hand our defence most definitely can beat the other AFC contenders, on the other hand the offence can lose to all of them. We have never got past the divisional round before, but a majority of pundits seem to think the Conference final is our minimum this time.
The Rams will need to win in Seattle and Philly (or Chicago) - and I dont think they can do that in winter. The Eagles can win in Seattle, but its 60-40 against.
So Seahawks against one of Broncos, Jags, Texans. Heart says Texans, head leans Jags.

History means less in the NFL than Prem tbf. Y’all have playoff experience and there is simply no better way to win a game than consistently putting the opposing QB on his ass.

I’d have to check the bracket, but I think Houston could easily (relatively speaking) make the AFC Championship.

The only way Philly would win in Seattle is in a defensive slugfest 12-10 or something like that. Their offensive play calling has been horrific all season and that's not going to change now, defense is humming though. At some point they will have to score 25 points in a game and I can't see that happening.

Also difficult to see the Rams winning there in the Divisional Round with Seattle having the rest advantage if that's how it plays out. I do think they'd beat them in the NFC Championship though which would need a 49ers or Packers win this week to be possible.
