If you were one of biggest stars in the world and she came to your place of work at your invitation, in your private box, wearing an I love Farage t shirt and slapped that all over social media then yes I think that would be a reasonable conclusion to come to. As you aren't then it's not really comparableI mean my mother voted for Brexit, guess that makes me a brexiteer?
Sign of how polarised things have come I guess that damning people by association is now to be expected. If you were one of biggest stars in the world and she came to your place of work at your invitation, in your private box, wearing an I love Farage t shirt and slapped that all over social media then yes I think that would be a reasonable conclusion to come to. Ha, as I said apologies if it offends people but it’s just how I see it, I was at a Bluejays game in Toronto a few years ago and they were drawing at full time.Christ Trev you have some cold takes, but that ones Baltic
Fair enough, probably applies to me.I will say that the way football works, for better and worse, is that one’s ability to really enjoy it is (often) critically dependent on how deeply one understands the game and its intricacies. To new fans, especially adults, it can be quite impenetrable.
Figuring out said intricacies is hugely rewarding though, IMV.
Appreciate you giving it a chance. Can’t be for everyone!Fair enough, probably applies to me.
Fair enough, just my opinion, I’m just an NFL philistine obviously.Look at this breakdown at what went into setting up the Smith touchdown. It's not just some bloke wanging it down the field for someone else to catch, so much goes into getting him into that position
Ties (our word for draws) are anathema in sport culture here. Shit, for the first few years of MLS they didn't even do draws there. Straight to PKs (we even had a bizarre format that was more like a hockey shootout) if tied after 90'.Ha, as I said apologies if it offends people but it’s just how I see it, I was at a Bluejays game in Toronto a few years ago and they were drawing at full time.
I said to my Nephew, ‘a draw that’s not bad’ and he said, ‘no they don’t do draws, they play on until someone wins’.
