I've wanted Payton gone for a couple of years now, but the goodwill he earned in 2009/2010 has kept him safe.
If the year continues like this I expect he will (finally) be fired, and GM Mickey Loomis likely gone as well.
Of course, I'd rather we just got better now, but it won't happen. We can't run the ball because we're always down by two touchdowns after two possessions. It's really pretty embarrassing. Ingram, Kamara, and Peterson are all good backs but when you're playing from behind you can't afford to run the ball too much. That leads to an over-reliance on the passing game which of course opposing teams can focus on. That Brees manages the numbers he does is absurd; if we could ever stay in a position to run a balanced offense we'd score 60 a game. As it is, we need to score 60 just to have a chance.
