The Streets were the support act. Not *too* weird if you’ve heard some of Kasabian’s more recent stuff. Serge is trying to turn them in to a dance group where he’s the front man and focus. The Streets have a fair few bangers so on that front, it makes sense!Was that actually separate gigs? Seems a very strange mix if not!
Hellfest in France is genre specific. Dynamo and Aardshock in Holland are genre specific. Rock am Ring in Germany is genre specific.It's a British trait that support acts and most festivals are so genre specific. In Europe & the states support acts & festivals are much more eclectic.
I get that when young & developing an identity people may define themselves more narrowly, & latch on to one particular brand, but I don't understand how people cling to narrow styles of music forso long. There's so much good stuff in so many different areas.
