The Music Thread Strikes Back

You're very welcome mate! I'm on a ridiculous number of email lists for gig tickets, and frequently pop things on here if I hazily remember someone mentioning liking the band, as I know how I feel when getting the chance to see someone where I love their music. Glad it proved worthwhile on this occasion!
 
Great choice in Dave for Mercury Prize Winner - Psychodrama is brilliant.
 
Don't know if TV as a whole was better in the olden days, but chat show music definitely was...

 
For a bit of 80s punk nostalgia, I went to see Black Flag play their first UK gig in 35 years the other night. Sadly it was a bit disappointing. Clearly both parties are too old for this shit.
 
Just realised that today is the THIRTY-FIRST anniversary of the first time I saw Metallica. Fucking hell, I feel old.
