The Music Thread Strikes Back

On the plus side, I've been listening to a shit load of Lou Reed and VU.



So after an exceptionally awful day Sunday, and musically depressing Monday, discovering these two gems makes me pretty happy with the world of music right now. Beautiful.
 
Not sure if it was new or not, but there's a superb Hendrix documentary on iPlayer at the moment.

As a result, it's all I've been listening to today. What a waste.
 
I saw that on TV last night. Didn't watch much of it though.
 
Arctic Monkeys gig in Brum tonight has just been postponed. Glad I didn't get tickets for it in the end!
 
Wow, that's a late call.
Someone mentioned The Reflektors as a touring name for arcade Fire earlier. Seems it's true...

I didn't go last year and I won't be returning this with a line-up as poor as that. I saw Linkin Park at the MK Bowl a couple of years ago and they were bang average.
 
Aren't Linkin Park just playing Hybrid Theory in full for their set?

Nothing else on there interests me though, I'd watch Fall Out Boy if I was there but they wouldn't be someone to tempt me into going.
 
It will be the bulk of the set, yes. Obviously they will play other songs like Metallica did when they played Master of Puppets in full.
 
Seen Aerosmith, & would maybe consider Rob Zombie, but the rest are pure shite.
Avenged sevenfold are fucking awful.
