I've heard of Bob Dylan. Otherwise I'm struggling a bit.

It didn't make the final cut, sadly.

The respect has faded.

I personally think "The Boxer" is the best lesser known track but we all know "bridge over troubled water" and "Mrs Robinson" are their best and most well known songs.

My Winter playlist:
Carpenters (Obviously)
Simon and Garfunkel
The Hollies
Stylistics
Slade
Queen
Petula Clark
Andy Williams

So a lot of variety :D

Christmas songs aren't allowed by the way.

Currently re-reading The Hobbit ready to see the film over the Christmas break. As I'm reading, I'm listening to the LOTR soundtracks by Howard Shore. They really are quite brilliant. Certain tracks give me a shiver down my spine. Love them.

dolly tends to do that.

hopefully it strikes a reasonable balance between tuneful and aggressive. some great tracks this year imo (lower dens track is awesome).

if it sticks at all let me know.

recording the rest of the blanks i bought tonite for pressies. if any spare ones i'll let the forum know assuming there's any interest

I'm off to see it Thursday afternoon at my local Cineworld.

I absolutely love Into The West by Annie Lennox on the LOTR soundtrack. I can imagine it's used at funerals a lot.

My favourite track is probably Forth Eorlingas from The Two Towers - the end of the Battle of Helm's Deep when the horses charge down the shale slope.

There is interest!!!!

Did anyone see the programme on Sky Arts with Mark Knopfler talking about the 6 guitars that have had an influence on his career? Some of them were pure sex. A hand made one called Monteleone - wow. If I had a spare 20k...
