Is this an answer smash?
Our Antipodean ex-pat managed it on the day, years before House of Games was a thing.

You can see how he got confused.

I think Partick Thistle are probably the deepest pull I can make from the Scottish pyramid.

Naturally, because they once had this tacky shirt (which I love):

Although in having searched for that, I see they're based in Glasgow, so maybe not really that deep a cut!
Used to go there frequently, along with Hearts.

One of the Scottish clubs I have an affinity with.

Rangers
Hearts
Partick
And
St Mirren

In reality Dale Vince is just an attention seeking prick, he would employ a dog as manager if it meant he'd get 15 minutes on TS
I’ve just listened to an interview with Dale Vince where he said the final straw with Deeney was when he received a red card for threatening to punch the fourth officials head in.

No doubt about it, Deeney was an absolute prick in his short time as FGR manager

Doherty home v Leeds in what turned out to be Zenga's last match was worse for me than his performance against Fulham.

Talk about forum necromancy!

My top 10, not in any particular order, keeping it to 1 per player otherwise I could have 7 or 8 Doherty specials, and I reserve the right to have forgotten or overlooked some:

- Hunt vs Watford (2013)
- Guedioura vs Wigan (2011)
- Nunes vs Brighton (2023)
- Doherty vs Fulham (2023)
- Hwang vs Liverpool (2022)
- Martinez vs QPR (2015)
- Coleman vs Oxford (1997)
- Thetis vs Portsmouth (2000)
- Halford vs Birmingham (2009)
- Gibson vs West Brom (2008)
One for us old guys . . .

Alan Boswell vs Liverpool (68/69) Wolves lost 6-0 at home.

The absolute worst goalkeeping performance I’ve ever seen.

Do you really live in New Zealand or Leicestershire?

Sorry, not a serious question just a forum in joke

Tony Daley v… someone, circa 95/96.

All I remember is Paul Jones throwing the ball out for a quick break and Daley literally being oblivious, running away with his back to the ball. It bounced off his heel and went out for a throw in. Absolutely useless.

In more modern times it’s got to be another vote for Hwang v Liverpool. When you’ve got your teammates genuinely laughing at how appalling you are, that’s some going. Hell of a turn around for him from that point.

I felt sorry for the egg, at home to Liverpool. Sat in the under construction North Bank & the atmosphere was phenomenally toxic. The rest of the team had given up/resigned to going down I think. Everyone hated Johnson. The egg was the only player trying to stop Liverpool scoring, but 1 vs 11 doesn't work, especially when the 1 is your weakest squad player.

I remember that, he was genuinely trying his heart out the only one, Johnson was a fucking disgrace, even Hennessey couldn't be arsed to try and keep the ball out of the net. Dark day.
