Arteta has announced he’s leaving arsenal at the end of the season.

Julen on the phone to his agent no doubt.

I refer the honourable gentleman to #1036 in this thread.

I’m with Keef. I reckon this quote is about the chorizo roll he got at the canteen this morning. He’s under a lot of stress, ketchup breaking point.

Ketchup on chorizo?? He should walk if he's done that.

Edit: I've just remembered that ketchup here is not the same as there.

I figured 'alioli' might have been too obscure to land my hilarious gag. You probably shouldn't dip a chorizo in that either to be honest.

alioli is awful, unfunny Germans, that bloke with the crap French accent, went on longer than the war and caused nearly as many casualties, oh hang on….

Darren Moore sacked at Huddersfield, Jamie Smith also goes. They won't, will they?

Emotional return for Steve Bruce and the days he had a company Jag (a seriously great car, by the way)

Chelsea fan seems to be starting a bring back Jose campaign

Given their reported financial status I suspect Poch will get more time simply because they can’t afford to sack him.

Their bigger problem is they have to pay Caicedo and Mudryk for the next eight years as the long contracts mean the amortisation hit would cripple them

I read they have to make £100m profit by June 30th this summer to avoid potential FFP issues.

Selling their overpriced mediocre players isn't going to help much either, they need to sell the likes of Broja, Gallagher and James for big fees, which other teams might be reluctant to spend.

Going to be difficult to sell all those quickly too as there's the Euros to contend with first.

Yep, their rule bending was only smart if the players were any good. Think they'll end up churning managers trying to find one to get a tune out of them.

They’ve done it assuming they’d get back in the CL, not getting in Europe will mean they have to sell way more than they would’ve expected.

I reckon they'd comfortably pull in £100m for Gallagher/Borja/James, though obviously they'd be reluctant to lose the later.

They'll also have plenty of academy lads/players out on loan that they can get £10-15m for - they'll just have to hope they're better now at picking out the Salah/KdB types from the Hudson-Odoi/RLC types.

No doubt these long contracts will hinder their spending in the coming years though. Serves Boely right, thinking he's some sort of genius doing something no fucker had ever thought of before
