Gued v Wigan!

First time I have genuinely felt sorry for a player despite them being a liability
I reckon that's defo the worst one in a game we ended up winning regardless. You'd struggle to be as bad as that if you actively tried your worst.

My top 10, not in any particular order, keeping it to 1 per player otherwise I could have 7 or 8 Doherty specials, and I reserve the right to have forgotten or overlooked some:

- Hunt vs Watford (2013)
- Guedioura vs Wigan (2011)
- Nunes vs Brighton (2023)
- Doherty vs Fulham (2023)
- Hwang vs Liverpool (2022)
- Martinez vs QPR (2015)
- Coleman vs Oxford (1997)
- Thetis vs Portsmouth (2000)
- Halford vs Birmingham (2009)
- Gibson vs West Brom (2008)

And no room for Lipstick Daz. Scandalous.

I swear I heard Dan's screams of agony in that Watford match as Hunt got played in on the right flank and controlled the ball 5 yards straight out of play for a Watford goal kick.

Surprised there aren't more 90s, and also that Ricketts didn't make an appearance.

No entries for Ferguson, Zubar, Johnson, Olofinjana, O'Hara, Lonergan, Corica...I could go to 100 if I tried.

Valentino Sheilis is actually the worst I've ever seen but not fair to pick on some no-name trialist in a friendly. Suffice to say that he wouldn't have got a game down the park.

Ricketts v WBA.

45 mins of how to be a fucking coward.

Although I was angry that day, not as angry as I was when I saw Tesco Carrier bag on my seat. Raging I tell you, RAGING...
Think I said to you as we walked out, "this is the darkest day in your history". You must remember.

Worse than both Stephen Elliott Bennett?

We were much lighter on individual nightmares in the 90s, it was a general maelstrom of crap (and having no proper central midfield for a decade). There was a Rankine at RB performance vs Derby (1994 I think) that would qualify for sure.

The rage has blocked out my full memory of that.

Maybe it will calm down if a see a Sainsbury's bag on a seat at FT on Sunday. Hopefully

What an outstandingly brilliant name though.

To include a player I actually liked, Helder Costa at Shrewsbury in the cup would definitely qualify. As would Neil Emblen's debut vs Reading.

Ha. Yes that Emblen debut, first "touch" was him miscontrolling a pass.

Same as Mark Williams, the South African superstar!

He only lasted a half, but Semedo against Brighton when we lost 3-2 is the worst Molineux individual performance since we were promoted. The sending off put him out of his misery

It's a high bar you've set, but might I offer you Vallejo vs Chelsea when we lost 5-2...

Just been on Twitter for the first time in a few hours, you'd have though Klopp had died
