He says he was offered a job in England a month ago but turned it down, which seems… Odd.

Tom Brady buzzword speak bollocks.
"A new First Team Manager will be announced in the coming days who will be responsible for creating an identity and clear ‘no fear’ playing style that all Birmingham City teams will adopt and embrace."

Huge Rowett for Zola vibes there
Yep.

Best position Blues have been in for years and they get rid. Madness.

I wonder if Eustace will go to Rangers, possibly not high profile enough though.

Would be a late call as they are about to do the final interviews with their top 4 (Phillipe Clement, Pascal Jansen, Scott Parker and Kev Muscat)

WTF? Just when you think they are getting their act together as a club.

Very harsh on Eustace, just beaten Albion 3-1 too

The owners clearly want a 'name' but Rooney has been pretty shit so far, could be another Zola situation for them

Rooney is a disaster, DC have basically played bad Pulisball all season because most CBs here can’t cope with Benteke.

Past that plan they had nothing.

What is it with American owners, Chelsea spending loads to go backwards, Bournemouth and Blues sacking managers that have done well with penniless clubs to take on a manager that will allow them to play 'a better brand of football', good luck with that.

Rooney is never gonna be anything than a lower league manager. He's too thick. Rosenior did most of the tactical work at Derby. Unless he gets a Peter Taylor type to allow him to do nothing else but manage then I don't see him working anywhere.

But then again Harry Redknapp did alright for himself.

We're all fucking morons dontchaknow.

Rooney got a bunch of pensioners and kids battling valiantly at Derby. Very admirable but as a high spot in his brief managerial career hardly a basis on which to bin Eustace.

He'll be appalling. He was an incredibly naturally gifted player who never had to think about it. He wasn't able to improve himself and got steadily worse as his career progressed. Looking forward to it.
