And this season his team are on in sixth place, 0 GD, 19 points behind the league leaders... if they were second and a couple of points off the pace but playing crap football would he have been sacked?

Hyperthetical but probably not, but the culmination of 19 points and shit style meant he was off. Alternatively if he was playing"the united way" and was entertaining every week yet in 6th place 19 points off I also think he would not have been sacked.

But this year despite his record of 58% win ratio in 118 games he has been sacked and thats down to relations with players and shit football style.

He’s not got a 58% win rate this season though? He’s got a 41% win rate which is woeful.

If he had been playing the United way they wouldn’t be in 6th as they would have actually won some games.

Der.......

Lets look at his record against all the others then. Oh Mourinhos top ffs.So why was he sacked? His style sucked. Which was my point.

Fair enough comparison? Christ some people want to argue with anything.

Its more impressive for Ferguson to have that win rate over 1500 games than Jose under a tenth of that amount of games.

It'd be like saying Graham Taylor and Turner have the same win rate at 42%. Only, one of them managed nearly 300 games more, many of which in lower divisions.

It's all well and good saying "but statistics bruv" but from the list on that page the only thing I'd infer is that United have had three big dynasties in Busby and Ferguson and Mangnall as the only managers in their history to manage more than 200 games (six for Wolves)

There's far too many variables to consider win percentages.

Looks like Bruce is going to pitch up at Sheffield Wednesday

Very surprised by that unless takeover talks are advanced and he is the man for the new owners (why they would pick him is another question). Chansiri is not going to put any more money in and he has no concept of working with an existing squad. All he ever does is sign players and send them out with no tactics.

Who do you think I'm talking about in response to a post about Steve Bruce :icon_lol:

He does WAY more than just sign players. Anti-terrorism for one thing.

Bad news for John Still at Barnet as Martin Allen has now been sacked by Chesterfield. It's only a matter of time.

Also Frankie Bunn sacked by Oldham after they got gubbed 6-0 yesterday.

I loved the record he set this season. Chesterfields longest run without a win and at the same time their longest unbeaten run. Drawtastic

Natives getting restless at Stoke, I'm sure a few of us said after something like 6 games Rowett should have been bulleted

Spoke to a few of my clayhead mates about it on Saturday. The style of football will do for him, clueless in defence and no attacking plan.

Stupid really, as up until signing McLean it looked like it could go well for them.

One good run out of nowhere with Blues has set him for life, must have made some big money off the two failed stints with promotion chasing clubs. Could put his feet up and life a very comfortable life now.

Tbf we all rated him while he was at Birmingham.
