That's him done at Championship level I reckon. 3 big failures in a row.

Harsh to call it 3 big failures. They were in 5th and 5 points off the top when he was sacked at Derby, and he wasn't even sacked for footballing reasons. Swansea were being stripped for parts by their American owners and most of their squad was Championship standard at best, keeping them up in the first place was a success. Lost Sigurdsson and Llorente who scored more than half their goals between them in the summer and they weren't properly replaced. Their squad was awful.

Big mistake to go to Reading though. That 16/17 team under Jaap Stam was a statistical freak of nature and once the momentum was gone with their piss poor squad it was only going one way. Failed there for sure. He'll probably end up at Napoli with Ancelotti by the end of the year.

He managed to see through Edwards and bomb him out though ;)

Derby sacked him for scoring too often and not in the correct goal

Now they can start playing football again

Been trying to get his pay off since the transfer window failures.

Problems at Utd lie deeper than Jose though.

Not a shock by any stretch of the imagination.

Zidane favourite to takeover with nuno at 33-1

Carrick in til the end of the season.

Sick of Mourinho, he was a breath of fresh air when he came to the Premier League but he comes across as a bitter old man now, from the drama with Pogba to his general distain for the media, slagging his own players off to the press.

The worst of all though is his constant digs at the board about transfers and not being able to get in players, despite the fact he has spent around £400m in his time there and pretty much none of his signings being definite successes. 90m on Lukaku, over 80m on Pogba, however much he spent on Sanchez and getting the best out of none of them. Moaning in the Summer how he needed a centre back, having just spent 60m combined on Lindelöf and Bailly neither of which he seemed to trust as they were in and out of the team all of the time.

They had to act really, what else do you do? Give him more money to waste in January? It's just throwing good money after bad.

Carrick in for a couple of days then a temp manager until the end of the season.

Who the fuck is going to go there KNOWING they have a job for effectively 21 games and will be gone in the summer? Who is going to be that desperate to get one of the big six on his CV?

Please PLEASE appoint the Count...

Get Big Fat Sam in to try and keep them up, then make a permanent appointment in the summer.
