The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2015/16

I'm surprised he can still get jobs on the strength of one good season at Barnsley the best part of 20 years ago

Knows the lower-leagues inside out, and a massive improvement of Saunders. Perfectly adequate appointment for a club in a relegation battle, IMHO.

Your challenge, should you wish to accept it, is to name a single manager that wouldn't be an upgrade on that tit.

Martin Ling has left his role as Swindon manager after a mere 56 days due to unspecified "health reasons"

Moniz also sacked as Notts County manager yesterday.

Didn't Martin Ling have time off at Torquay due to depression? If this is a relapse then my heart goes out to him.

He did, however absolutely nothing has been mentioned so it's unwise and unfair to speculate, and if it isn't then it's clearly serious enough to warrant standing down so not good at all.

Swindon have said that Ling left because of the stress of the job, I would presume that is related to his previous illness. I wish him well, and hope he can get back into the game some time in the future.

Ajax boss Frank De Boer has admitted he would be interested in holding talks with Swansea. Go get him.

Balague (who is often full of shit, so take it with a pinch of salt) reckons Rafa has been sacked. I still don't understand the thought process behind appointing him.

No prizes for guessing who the favourite to take over is.

All the Spanish papers are saying it'll be announced this evening.
