The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2015/16

Curtis will be 62 before the season ends and has never shown any wish to be a manager in the near 25 years since he stopped playing. I don't think there's any real prospect of him staying on even if he led them to Champions League form for the rest of the season.

They couldn't get what they wanted and stuck with the guy already there.

Terry Connor???

Reading the Swansea Chairman's comment sit is almost exactly the same. Only difference he didn't pledge to get someone with Prem Experience before appointing a novice like Jez did. Seems they spoke to a lot of managers and those in jobs didn't want to walk out during the season and those without jobs didn't fancy taking the risk of being relegated.

Also, Curtis has already got more points in five games than Connor did in 13!

Betis sack coach Pepe Mel after woeful run. Keeps getting found out.

Oldham have sacked David Dunn, I didn't even know he'd gone into management!

He took over as caretaker manager in October, and got the job. Sadly it did not go well for Dunn or Oldham.

Fraeye sacked by Charlton. Mind blowing that someone who had never worked outside the Belgian third tier got given a gig at this level for a third of a season.

Jose Riga re-appointed. Think they're done regardless, the only possible saving grace being the bottom five this year is disgracefully poor. Going to be a travesty when at least one of MK/Rotherham/Bristol City stays up.

Charlton fans are not too pleased about Riga returning. I do wonder what is happening at the Valley.

Some folk'll never lose their job and then again some folk'll
Like Cotterill the slack jawed yokel
