The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2015/16

I've always thought I could see Jose at United.

Talk was when Fergie went - they didn't want him because of his lack of longevity, after Fergie's dynasty they wanted something similar. However given Moyes bombed inside a year and LvG is awful they're just not going to get that, the likes of Fergie/Wenger are exceptional, it doesn't happen very often. I would think he would be considered this time if he's still available when they eventually can the budgie headed weirdo.

The England job is vacant next summer.

Manchester United should be looking at him to replace LVG although would the mutual consent bit of his parting company with Chelsea not allow him to take on another role this season?

Woy wants to stay on to the World Cup. If we make at least the quarter finals this summer (we should) then I can't see the FA making a change.

Mourinho to Utd would be great. Not just because I'm totally sick of Louis the Hutt and his bull$#@!.

No it would not. UTD get what they deserve in appointing LVG. City is the more likely option but then again he may take on the Portugal national team......

My thoughts as well, he's expressed interest in that job IIRC.

I wonder if the incident with the team doctor was the start of things going wrong. It seems as if from there, Chelsea have stumbled from one disaster to another.

A Chelsea fan on the radio said they should bring back Ranieri...

Can't see anyway Guardiola would leave Bayern until summer so don't see how any sacking between now and then gives any club an advantage in pursuing him.

I suppose Chelsea don't have to worry about pissing off the current manager by making advances now whereas you'd think United or City would have to try and keep it out of the knowledge of LVG and Pellegrini but if they're looking to bin them in the summer anyway then it's probably not going to make that much difference to them.

Not sure on Mourinho to United either, after the drudgery of LVG I can see them going for someone with a bit more flair to bring them back to a more attacking way, Mourinho would get them more competitive but not a great deal more entertaining.

The Mail are running an article on how Chelsea are after Simione for next season.

Thoughts?

He doesn't speak a word of English. Not in a Pochettino at Southampton way either.

Former Chelsea physio, Eva Carneiro, is reportedly under intensive care in a London hospital after a prolonged fit of laughing left her life in serious danger.

University College London hospital confirmed a 41-year-old woman was admitted at around 3:30pm this afternoon suffering with breathing complications.

“We received an emergency call at around 3pm reporting a woman rolling around in convulsions of laughter which were preventing her from breathing properly,” a hospital source told us.

“A witness stated that the symptoms had started at 2:45pm and had gotten progressively worse over the next fifteen minutes.”

“We understand the woman had been undertaking her usual routine of sitting down to check the news on Chelsea football club, and at this stage we believe this to be the cause of the debilitating fits of laughter.”

Eva Carneiro hospitalised

A neighbour of Carneiro, said he saw the physio receiving CPR in the front lawn of her garden, having earlier been seen skipping around it in a what appeared to be a home-made Leicester City kit.

They told us, “I do hope she’s ok – the paramedics did look quite concerned as they treated her.

“That said, I’ve never seen anyone look so incredibly happy whilst being loaded into an ambulance.”

:D

We're all missing the obvious here, there's a man out of work who'd love the Chelsea job,I'm naming no names but his initials are Dean Saunders! It'd be great if he went to either Chelsea or Utd,just to **** em up even more

Roberto Martinez could be the next manager to be sacked. Look what happened to Swansea and Chelsea managers, the last two teams Leicester played. And Everton are up next for the league leaders.

never in a million years for me..Martinez has done and are doing a good job at everton..not in the red zone for me..they need to start converting those chances thougn(much like wolves) but they are challenging for a top 6 this season for sure
