It'd be wonderfully entertaining though.

Bielsa's Marseille were unbelievably good for the first 6 months and unbelievably tragic for the last 6.

Shaun O'Driscoll hot favourite for the Walsall job

Sounds like Pep will be leaving Bayern in the summer.

I'm guessing both Manchester clubs and Chelsea would want to throw a huge pile of cash his way to try and tempt him in the summer then.

Jose, LVG and Pellegrini must be thinking "oh shit" at this news.

Pellegrini is the one doing the best but is probably the most vulnerable.

I just dont see Pep being able to create a side within the Premier league to play the way he requires them. I think its important for his philosophy that the core group are coached together through the ranks.

There were reports earlier in the week about Mrs Pep giving hubby grief for thinking about moving from "nice" Munich to "grotty" Manchester.

I would imagine she would be more agreeable to London, suppose it depends how much influence "her indoors" has with regards to the final decision he makes.

Fact that Abromovitch is going against all his previous behaviour regarding managers, means he might have something up his sleeve (apart from his arm)

He hasn't got a squad that came through the ranks together at Bayern, there's only Lahm and Muller who've had their whole careers there. There are plenty in their squad who haven't even been there as long as Guardiola.

Bayern are fantastic to watch under Pep. Nowhere near as tiki-taka based as his Barca team.

I'd love to see him over here

Bayern fans strongly dislike him.

Not really. They'd be pretty mental if they did. They got very annoyed about Kroos leaving but that's about it.

Basically there's no challenge domestically, if he wins the Champions League there this season then there isn't much else for him to prove. You'd happily walk away with that as your legacy.

Talking of Toni Kroos...

Isco's properly taking the piss with this:

So if Chelsea do sack Mourinho, would they get a caretaker manager in for the rest of the season, and try to lure Pep to Stamford Bridge next summer?

Pep would be a disaster at Chelsea IMO. They don't have the players to play his way at all.

Still, can't be much worse than it is now I suppose.
