They've had one win since August, and even that was against Villa, so they're hardly doing well are they? You'd expect Chelsea to improve and get past them at some point, Newcastle too and then you've got new managers at Villa and Sunderland looking to improve things, Swansea could find themselves in trouble if it carries on much longer.
I think the issue is they haven't got much within the squad to change it around tactically, a number of very good players but they're all of the same profile. So he can change the starting XI, but the basic plan is always going to be pretty much the same and if other teams have worked it out, then what do you do. They also only have one striker of any note and 80% of the time he is absolute mince. They really needed to look at that area in the summer.
I don't know, he genuinely had gone as far as he could with Everton, there was nothing there to challenge him any more. Nothing wrong with trying to better yourself.
Feel a bit for Moyes. Obviously a very good manager - however, following Fergie would always be an impossible task and then going to Sociedad was going to be a massive challenge.
