Curbishley has declared his interest in the Fulham job apparently.

Curbishley has been out of football management for quite a number of years. Maybe Fulham would prefer to go for someone with a recent managerial record.

Fulham fans have been talking about Rosler/Pearson/Lambert, Curbishley would be a bit of a disappointment. I hope they go for Saunders personally, I hate Fulham.

They still under the transfer embargo?

Yep. Difficult for them even to loan players.

Clubs in 13th, 15th and 16th have binned their managers. Club in 14th still holding on to KJ

Quite shocked by that. Clearly not a great manager but I thought he was doing a decent job given the limited resources.

Fulham too who are 12th.

KJ is definitely the outlier especially seeing as Leeds and Blackburn (nutbar owners notwithstanding) cannot have had as high expectations for this season as we - either board or fans - did.

Is it though? Bowyer is a harsh decision, but elsewhere I dont think the managers can have too many complaints.

None of those clubs are likely to be able to tempt a Manager in work elsewhere away (not saying we would either) so will be trawling the Manager labour exchange.

Pretty sure that there isn't anything I would want from that pool.

I had Gary Bowyer down as one of the top half dozen Championship managers, sets his teams up ok, speaks reasonably well about the game.

Warnock has brought Kevin Blackwell in to help him at QPR. The football at Loftus Road is going to be something to behold over the next few weeks.

I have seen hundreds of utterly shite teams but rarely any as truly joyless as Warnock's early efforts at Sheffield United when Blackwell was his assistant. Loathsome outfit. Remember them wasting time at Molineux once after three minutes.

Not all bad news for QPR fans though...........Alex McLeish is in the running for the job (also being looked at by Fulham)

Suggests that Warnock will be there longer than just as a stop gap while they look for a new manager. Why would Blackwell come in if it was just for a few weeks?

I'd feel sorry for QPR if I didn't dislike them so much.

Alan Irvine as assistant as well. Interesting choice for Blackburn. We will just have to see how it goes for them.
