He's a bigger dinosaur than Scolari. Baffling.

Considering the players he had, Scollari did a pretty good job getting them to the semi-final.

Rosenborg sacked Head Coach Per Joar Hansen.

Also assistant Wiggen gone it seems.Kåre Ingebrigtsen (former Rosenborg player) apparently taking over for the rest of the season.

Lucky generals and all that.

Fortunate to beat Croatia and scrape through the two knockout games I would say. Masked the flaws of Scolari's own tactics and the squad he picked - no one made him select those players and he chose to leave out Miranda, Filipe Luis, Lucas Moura, Coutinho etc.

Is Dunga much better? Strange appointment

Dunga isn't exactly renowned for exciting play...

Iirc Brazil were pretty dull yeah, solid at the back but not much else going on,I wonder if Dunga dares to dream and leaves out David Luiz...

Miranda and Thiago Silva would be a good partnership.

I suspect David Luiz's commercial value - he is a huge brand in Brazil, nearly as big as Neymar - will see him retain his place though.

Indeed.Dunga seemed pretty pigheaded tho,he may not care...

Miranda Hart would be an infinitely better option than David Luiz.

Corriere dello Sport: Former Juventus coach Antonio Conte to be named PSG boss.

Claudio Ranieri new Greece boss.

Any reasonable sized European national team manager's job is a real cushy gig for the next two years. So easy to qualify for Euro 2016. We could pick the 2006 squad including Becks, G-Nev, Hargreaves, Campbell, Rio, Cashley, Owen and go through.

Mark Robins has left Huddersfield. Or mutual consent sounds like his been pushed more than leaving on his own accord.

They've had a really shit summer, he was never popular there and fans were walking out after 35 minutes yesterday but to sack him after ONE game?

I feel so sorry for him, he's just put in months of hard work on the training field to prepare for the new season and now he's out of a job.

Apparently it was a hangover from last season, if thats the case sack him after the final game not now. He's not the best of managers but its a bonkers decision.

How on earth can a manager be sacked after one game. It beggars belief.
