Ifs and ands.

I would have liked a carabao cup semi final- who wouldnt. I also said ( despite others contradictions) that its was the best chance of europe at the time. Villa got a bonus semi final thanks to some really naff scheduling and it sticks in my craw a bit it could have been us.

We have , however qualified for the eurpoa league latter stages and have recoivered our form enough to show that last seasons efforts were not a one season wonder and we are capable of challenging others again. Besides, its 2 legs and thats the killer. Villa lost to Bradford last time didnt they?

You ignoring that we would have been a different number in the draw to Aston Villa, so there is no guarantee the draw would have come out as it did

Not that impressed with Liverpool, lots of poor passes and heavy first touches, good winner though and Monterey defended very well......we can take them

I would quite happily have drawn Oxford or Colchester too. Our record in one off games re the best is right up there so even if we drew city ,who we have beaten twice since august, Everton, who we beat this year and should not have lost at their place this season, Man u who we beat in league and cup last year or Leicester who thanked VAR for not losing to us at home this year? Sorry mate I would have happily taken any of that lot.

The fa cup is better

I really think we're better off without a two legged semi final to worry about

Enjoying some decent fare on Freesports.

Fiorentina 1 Roma 2 as halftime approaches. Enjoyable. Belting freekick by Kolarov for Roma.

I'm watching my life slowly drift away...or to be accurate, watching Boro v Stoke.

Stunning game if you like watching Tom Ince realise he has thrown his career away

A goal has happened...an actual goal.

I'm watching Kevin Prince Boateng look a right fucking carthorse up front for Fiorentina.

Dzeko and Zaniolo looking class for Roma. Smalling seems accomplished, which is definitely a new look

Apparently Smith Rowe starting for Arsenal today

Leicester in front at the Emirates. City have battered them, but a classic Vardy counterattack has given them the lead.

Flamengo look a very good side indeed. Excellent test for Liverpool this. Firmino should have scored after forty seconds, but since then it is end to end cracking stuff.

Salah absolutely butchered that 6 on 2 (!!) break. He isn't as sharp as last season. Still awesome, but not quite that exalted level again yet*

*he will score now
