We’d have beaten them if Neves and Doc had played that game (the two who had had the least minutes so far) and That was even allowing for Ruddy throwing two in the net. Liverpool’s kids are better than ours even though I know we had some first teamers in there.

Look how our second string used to do in cup games against L2 sides. Reserve players are always shit in total changed teams. They haven’t played and are rusty, and they haven’t played together.

Like I said they’ll probably still win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have to call on the subs bench.

There are some decent players in that Liverpool team, Herbie Kane, Hoever, Elliott.
