The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

Wow.

Arsenal dodged a bullet there.

Pretty amazing European week. I think every UK club bar Rangers won, and they picked up a decent point.

It's ruined my hilarious Nicolas Bebe nickname that I was planning to launch.

2 very good free kicks. Hope he kicks on.

Ok if he holds off on that for 10-14 days or so?

Yeah, we’ve got to be due some VAR luck too

Apparently the fact that all seven English clubs in European competition won in the same game week is a first for any country.

Rather nice to be part of that stat.

Not keen on Angus Gunn. Pushes the ball back into some awful areas.

Leicester benefiting from VAR again!

No real complaints for Bertrand really. Nice to see VAR make a decision other than disallowing a goal for once. Probably killed this game as a contest though.

Nah, it's a red. But you've got:

- Our disallowed goal on the opening weekend. Very few people even knew about that rule and we were the first to have it go against us (and it's mega harsh in that Willy couldn't have done anything about it)
- Tielemans non-red card vs Bournemouth
- Spurs disallowed goal, not even sure it was offside and that would have been a Spurs win for sure
- Bollocks disallowed goal for Burnley last week

Bizarre how absolutely everything has run for them so far.

More stuffiness from Leicester and its 0-2. When things are going for you they're going for ya.

Now a third...

Saints another relegation candidate. They aren’t very good. Tidy enough in midfield but there defence is awful. Yet our only shot on target was a penalty [emoji2371]

Paper hands from Gunn, no way he is better than Alex McCarthy.

Either of the first half goals for us count (I can't complain about the decisions as such...I doubt the second would have been ruled out last season though) and I think we'd have won easily.

This could probably be the end of Hassenhuttl. Their home form is appalling and Leicester could get as many as they want at this rate.

Aye, their last home win was against us over six months ago.
