In normal circumstances no, but you can’t predict the end of the season, particularly this altered season. Villa won’t get a better chance than against 3 teams with nothing to play for. Spawny win against a mediocre Palace team and it’s on.

As bad as Villa are I can see them beating Palace who are the last team you want a favour from.

Other than a little spell prior to the penalty against United i've seen absolutely nothing from Villa to suggest they can score, let alone win a game. They looked absolutely finished at the end of the United game.

Deeney has subsequently missed a sitter and Welbeck has had a decent half chance. Penalty has completely changed the game as Watford were awful prior to it.
