Why does Guilbert cower away from the ball for Deeney's goal?

That’s some doing by Everton 2-0 in the 93rd minute and still end up drawing.

However Arsenal are still hopefully doing us some small semblance of a favour in OUR mission rather than the amusement of the failure of others.

As a bonus, tonight drops Brighton (where we never win) and West Ham (for lolz) right in the shit.

We won at Brighton in 2016. Terrible game.

It was dire. But our record there is pretty bad indeed.

That result at Villa Park undoes a lot of the good that Pearson bounce did in one night!

They're in the scrap now which is a lot better than it looked 6-7 weeks ago as they were getting cut adrift.

I've got my eye on West Ham, they're a pretty rubbish team and they have no sense of permanence with Moyes evidently being a long-term caretaker.

We also won at Brighton (well, the Withdean) in 2004! Miller scored. I went there when we lost 4-1 in 2003 which was thoroughly miserable. Watching a game through a hammer throw net is not my idea of fun.

After Bournemouth away Villa's fixtures don't look great at all between now and the end of the season, don't think they've got any of the bottom 6 at home. Think West Ham will be fine eventually. With Norwich its 2 from Watford, Bournemouth, BHA, Villa. Palace and Burnley just need to keep a mindful glance over their shoulder.
For me BHA look very ropey currently and that tonight will knock them sideways.

Especially when you consider that their games in hand are against the Red Machine and away at Leicester.

Chelsea back in front. Bugger.

Looks very tight at the bottom. Only 11 points separating 5th (& us) from relegation places.

I reckon this might actually be one of those years when you need 40 points to stay up..

possibly. I think for it to happen you would need Spurs, Arsenal and United to remain crap and leak points against the teams at the bottom. Considering our situation that would probably be a right good thing.

Personally, I am guessing 38 or 39.

I've got no idea who will be relegated, it's way too close to call

Although if villa lose Grealish they're done

Possibly may still only need about 38, what's different is the so called top 6 no longer exists when usually they hoover up huge amounts of points in comparison to the rest instead there's been a bigger share of the points.
