The January 2025 Transfer Thread

He was working as a waiter in a cocktail bar, that much is true, but even then he knew he'd find a much better place either with or without us
.., those four years that we had , they were such good times, I still miss you. But now I think it’s time for posting shite from my phone. I guess it’s just what I must do.

You're rewriting history here. Nuno was working as a waiter in a cocktail bar, when we got him. We picked him up, shook him up and turned him around and turned him into something new. Now five years later on he's got the world at his feet, success has been so easy for him. But don't forget it's us that put him where he is now, and we can put him back down too.
I have no idea what to make of this

Yes but we tried to replace him and tried to replace Doyle, and then didn't have time to replace Cunha after selling so late. Fans need to understand the difficulty of the market at this time of year.

Also, as those players were already on the virtual tickets or something, tickets will need to increase next year by 17% to cover the costs to change them.

The club have pulled a master stroke.

All the fuss and speculation about Cunha, takes all the attention away from the fact we have signed fucking nobody……again.

Cunha won’t go anywhere, never was, he’s under contract and no one will give us £70m in January. He’s not even needed by Arsenal - they need a number nine.

So they generate the fuss, incorporate those numpties from the Express & Star and perform a miracle by getting Cunha to somehow stay.

He’ll be like a new signing.

No good signing him to break into the US market, Americans can’t afford eggs anymore, they aren’t going to be flying in to watch a game and buy overpriced tat

Haven't seen him at Betis tbf but he has never really looked the part for the US.
