The January 2025 Transfer Thread

Didnt do Forest any harm last season and now look at this season. We all know Fosun have fabricated FFP totals..
Haven't fabricated anything really, just used it as an excuse to hide behind and got the likes of Liam to shout about it as much as possible so enough buy the story.
The facts are out there but we live in a world that doesn't deal with pesky things like the truth.

Suppose it's easy to look at Forest as an example of how well a club is doing partic. as they have Nuno. Let's see how they do next season when teams have worked them out. We saw how difficult that became after our first two seasons in the Prem. I have a funny feeling that their spending will come home to roost.

How about Brighton or Fulham or Brentford or Bournemouth?

Because they're all miles better than us and have all played in the fourth tier way more recently than us, seeing as that old chestnut came up again earlier.

None of them have put up prices 64% since they went up either.

This year's FFP shows you all you need to do is find someone to buy Nathan Fraser for £20m and buy a duffer from them. The kid Villa bought from Everton and then loaned to Norwich has played 19 games 0 goals, 0 assists
Will get you out of short term problems with ffp, but 2/3 years down the line your stuck with players with no value and still costing 10m+ in amortisation.

Not really, you get the money up front from an FFP perspective for the player you sold and if you put a £10m player on a 4 year contract it's £2.5m per year which is neither here or there. He was so bad Albion sent him back.

Yeah your correct I was thinking more of the 20 million for kellyman from Villa.

Wolves: 'Cunha wants out, prepare the ground so it's not a shock to the fans if it happens'

Judah and Keen go in with both boots

Wolves 'FFS, not that much, sort it'

Judah and Keen

Gamble at this point - they might stutter and finish outside of the European places then it's not much more than a sideways move. Would make much more sense in the summer if they manage to finish in the Champions League places.
Pretty much, although I'd argue on sideways move. Forest want to make Europe, we want to finish 17th. That will remain the relative ambitions next season too

I guess y’all could be right, but for me, if Nuno calls, I answer.

I hope we sell him, i get why but we've wasted the last 6 months of his career. Be interested to see in 3 years time who has the better career, him or Doyle. 2 decent Championship players

I think Doyle is one of those players that could definitely be a Prem player in the right team and system. Sort of the way Fleck was for Sheff Utd.

(Now wondering if it was someone else I am thinking off)
