The Incoming Transfers Everywhere Thread: Summer 2023

Suppose the other thing we have to remember is we currently have 1 target - stay in this league. Nothing else matters.
So if that means signing a couple of battle hardened players to try and help drag us over the line then so be it. Worry about the fancy, get us excited transfers until the Summer (ignoring we have already spent £35m on one player of course)
That's the way I'd see it if we're in for him.
I agree with TT though, why would West Ham let him come here?

Couple of things. I don't see why West Ham would sell us any player unless we pay significantly over the odds.
It could be a Coady to Everton situation where he's out of the manager's favour but they still want to do right by him by allowing a move, even if its to a fellow relegation candidate.

He's been playing regularly for Moyes

I've had a Leicester fan mention to me that they'd take Traore on a 6 month deal as they need a right-winger.

I'd totally do an Ayoze Perez swap (also out of contract in the summer). He showed at Newcastle that he can play a lone striker role successfully. He'd be better than anything we currently have and potentially won't cost anything. He's on around £45k p/w so wouldn't want big wages either. Spanish too so could suit JLop.

Cunha - Perez - Pod/Neto

Would totally do me until the summer when Sasa will hopefully be back.

Don’t think we need another ‘flatter to deceive, inconsistent’ forward to add to the roster

He was a decent player for a while but it's all quite a long time ago. 4 goals in his last 50 PL games.

Some seem to think the 'other' at West ham is Fornals. Apologies if anyone has already posted this

Leicester barely ever use him other than a sub, and he not so long ago had a hat-trick against Southampton when they did them over 9-0.

Hest still only 29 so hardly past his prime. I'm only suggesting him as he'd be a reasonable free short-term option instead of signing no-one and relying heavily on the thin possibility of Jimenez somehow regaining his form.

If ever there were a swap deal hypothetically with Adama and Perez, I d take Perez who will work his balls off under Julen to a idle fuckwit Adama who cares fuck all on the field of play.

I was disappointed when we weren't in for him when he signed for West Ham. He's not really lived up to what I thought he was capable of, but he's the sort of player that would be ideal in the advanced midfield role, without being an out and out #10. I'd take him.
