De Gea is still unattached? Not that I'd necessarily rate him higher than Sá at this point, just surprised at that.

Santi Mina and Alfredo Morelos the only other names that jump out from a quick glance at the free agent list.

Did Ocampos go anywhere in the end? Might be out of our reach wage wise, though.

Has Eden Hazard signed for anyone? Wouldn't want him after the last 2-3 years but was world class at Chelsea

Come on, De Gea is marginally better than Sa! But yes, still free. Reckon waiting for the window to close by design, though must still be most likely to end up in Saudi

I dunno, for all Sá’s faults, he generally keeps out anything he gets a hand to. That wasn’t true of de Gea last year.

De Gea won the golden glove though...

Only if I’m making sense.
You might be. Maybe it's me, if only we could have signed Peter Schmeichel to replace Sa, assuming Schmeicel was still at his peak, which he's not obvs

Am I in some parallel universe?
I'm not suggesting we can sign De Gea! I was just challenging the assuming Sa was as good as him. Schmeichel is far more likely, but I don't think we're signing any frees either.

K. Schmeichel is a prick. I wouldn't want him here even if he is on a free.

Isn’t the issue about transfer money that Fosun are not able to invest any more money into the club. That was the gist of the postings by The Accountant. He said that their lenders would not allow them invest in companies that would not provide a return.

Doesn’t the FFP limit of 105m loss over last three years only apply if the owners invest 90m?

Without the investment isn’t the FFP limit only 15m loss?
I don't think as a club we should be operating at a loss at all. Losing £5m a year, year on year is not sustainable, losing £105m every three years should not be a viable option

I don't think Fosun should be willing to lose money and certainly shouldn't be happy about it. Anyone suggesting they should need to give their head a wobble.
