He's generally anywhere but upfront when he's meant to be playing there leaving a gaping chasm which none of our players seem capable of running into.

He 'could' play as a false 9 but we'd need to sign players in the Salah & Mane ilk.

He also seems to do a lot of his best work picking the ball up around midfield.
Sort of see where you're coming from, especially your last point which I do agree with. However, there's a directness to his play that I think suits a #9 (or "second striker", if you like, either way). He will drift wide at times but I don't see that as a fault with him as a striker, I see that more as indicative of how goal-shy our wingers tend to be that his movement doesn't always/ever pay dividends.

I get where the arguments not to play him there come from, but I think he's capable of it. Whether or not things actually play out that way is another question.

#9 is a centre forward.

I'm quite aware of that, thanks.

Gotta say, turning noses up at Antonio looking slightly foolish based on the start of the season. Know Luton aren't PL level really but he's been physically dominating all 3 of their lumps up front. Proper target man's performance.

Jonny has rejected moves to Getafe and another Spanish club saying he wants to stay and fight for his place
I literally saw him with his family sitting outside Fiume at around 3pm today. So, unlikely he's moving anywhere today 😁

Taking a while to get that Fax machine fired up, I wanna go to bed.

Seen much of him?
If he’s as good as that blog makes him sound it’s really stellar business.

As with any player from a different league there’s always a non-zero chance it goes completely sideways (looking at you, Jean-Michäel Seri).

What I want to know is how Forest have managed to make SIX signings.

Money’s a fuckin’ scam innit.

They’re making Cooper’s already tough job even tougher by forcing him to juggle all these poor lads.

Sky seem to think them selling Johnson means they’ll dodge FFP. Mental with how many they signed last year too.

I think I heard today that since that American fuckwad took over they've spent over a billion. A billion. A FUCKING BILLION POUNDS ON TRANSFERS

Spread over 8 years so doesn't count...
