I'm officially old now we are signing a player whose grandfathers I saw play.
Depends how broken Hodge is though unfortunately. If we buy another CM on top of Doyle then Hodge will undoubtedly go out on loan. Hopefully to a Championship team.
Can almost guarantee that when Nunes looks a world beater for City there will be plenty of posts raging that we should have got more for him..
He won't, he's going to out for a few weeksIf we buy another CM on top of Doyle then Hodge will undoubtedly go out on loan. Hopefully to a Championship team.
Is he Tony Doyle's grandson then?I'm officially old now we are signing a player whose grandfathers I saw play.
This. He’ll be lucky to make the bench if his passing doesn’t improve a hundred foldNot sure how long Pep is going to put up with him miss placing 5 yard passes on a regular basis.
He’s not gonna be the same player under Pep than he was under the master tactician, Bruno Lage.This. He’ll be lucky to make the bench if his passing doesn’t improve a hundred fold
They all say what an absolute bargain we have for £5mBlades forum
CONFIRMED - James McAtee - on season-long loan
You'd expect Nicko (who has run Macca stories all summer) to jump in soon with something more substantional to take the Limelight of the FI tweet Nixon in posting low-hanging-fruit rumour "gossip" shocker.www.s24su.com
It wasn't application, that's unfair. Occasionally concentration, sometimes trying to play heroball, more often than not decision makingHe’s not gonna be the same player under Pep than he was under the master tactician, Bruno Lage.
Pep will turn him into an absolute superstar - of that, I’m sure.
We all know the talent was there - it was the application that wasn’t.
Pep fixes that in a few weeks.

Still took a battering from us in 74 Cup final. That said, how I'd love a Colin Bell in our midfield.Mike Doyle on one side and Glyn Pardoe on the other

Folks really love to assume that pros just fuck off for minutes at a time on the pitch. It wasn't application, that's unfair. Occasionally concentration, sometimes trying to play heroball, more often than not decision making
I was at Woodfield Ave primary with a Pardoe. Wonder if they were related?Mike Doyle on one side and Glyn Pardoe on the other
Tbf if he's half decent at 21in the Championship, then he could improve with age under the tutelage of Gaz and playing with better players. At worst he'll be ok back up and he's costing virtually nowt. The last two pages I've seen "tore the championship up" and "one of England's best young talents"...some people are going to be very disappointed.
He's a decent player, in one of our strongest positions. £5m is about half what he'd be worth in the open market but the looks of some of the reactions here you'd think he's a star in the making, rather than our 4th choice midfielder
You're back!
Is it cos Gary won a couple?
Don't know where you heard that from!!Phone broke, although I hear we were dross against Everton.
